I just started taking methylprednisolone for an allergic reaction to mold. i wanted to know if after i take the meds will my symptoms come back?

Yes: The Methylprednisolone only reduces the inflammation temporarily. The most effective approach is avoidance. Lf you have allergic bronchopulmonary mycosis, prolonged treatment with steroid is often needed to prevent further damage and to control the asthma.

Possibly: If you have continued or repeated exposure to mold or other allergens it is likely symptoms will return. See an allergist for evaluation and long term management.
