Methylprednisolone can you stop it midway? i'm on the line where take 3 then 2and 1. but its causing pain to go from normal 2 to 5. like my regular pain med not working. only 1 wk trial doc left me.

Discuss with MD: You should always finish the Medrol (methylprednisolone) pack in its entirety as directed. (unless you are having a reaction and told to stop). Your doctor will get information, even if it is not taking away all of the pain. There is also a risk of your body not adjusting well to the sudden stop. I recommend finishing the trial if you can or at least discussing with your doctor.

Yes: Yes as long as you have not taken steroids such as Methylprednisolone for more than 2 weeks on a high dose constantly hence the rationale of tapering it.
