Difficult: Vitamin c and glycolic acid preparations may work to fade stretch marks. Exercise can reduce the skin sagging but it takes commitment. Pilates is an excellent way to melt away fat. Seeing a dermatologist for non-surgical treatment has benefits.

Exercise and lotions: "Stretch marks" are not a "badge of courage" for most recently pregnant women and represent "breakdowns" in the skni's elasticity. Exercise can tone the abdominal muscles, and "lotions' and creams can minimize but not eliminate the appearance of "stretch marks".
