Stop the culprit: Ibuprofen can cause irritation to the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Gi bleeding is also possible, especially in those at risk and in the elderly. Taking it would food or snack and taking lower dosages may help minimize your symptoms. Taking an antacid along with it can also help. Mention this to your doctor for better individualized advise.
