Moderate and sometimes severe pain in my right ribs. it's been gradually worsening for 3 weeks and is swollen and tender to the touch, what is it?

Don't know what: It is but would recommend a visit to your doctor, and an xray. Ribs are not typically swollen and tender without a trauma or a blood born cause. For them to independently start becoming swollen and tender is unusual.
