Not typhoid : Typhoid it is not. If you have constant throat itching, you should see an allergist. Most people with throat itching only have intermittent episodes usually associated with having eaten fruits which share allergens with certain tree pollen (eg birch and apple). If your throat is itching or irritated constantly, consult an ENT

Allergy: Allergy would be much more likely than typhoid fever. Allergies are very common occuring up to 15% of the population. Simple skin or blood testing could be done to confirm diagnosis if history is suggestive of allergy. Allergy is more common in families with similar history.
