Limit exposure: Close contact & active TB suggests high risk for transmission, but if your brother is taking his meds, your risk of becoming infected should improve over time. Until he is no longer infective, he could wear a mask to catch his respiratory droplets when in a common area & could stay in his own room as much as possible. You should check with your doctor or the local health department for other tips.
