48 hours: You should have a completed reading within two days. If you haven't heard from your doctor by the third day, i suggest you call and inquire. Good luck.

A few days: The MRI is usually read by the radiologist within 24-48 hours after having been completed. It may take a day or two to get the results to the ordering physician. You should be able to get the results from that office by calling and requesting the results.
