Why would synthetic insulin not be resisted?

Don't know: What you mean by resisted. You don't develop antibodies to synthetic Insulin if that's what you mean. People who are overweight are commonly Insulin resistant, and therefore are resistant to the action of all insulin, both their own and by injection.
