What would experts say? could a cbc be abnormal if you had an enlarged spleen?

Not necessarily: There are many causes for an enlarged spleen. An abnormal CBC (like too many white cells) may cause the spleen to enlarge. Or an over active enlarged spleen may cause a low HGB or hct.

35 yo female. Spleen 13cm. Normal CBC. Total bili 1.5 direct 0.2. A1C 4.3. Blood smear showed mild spherocytosis. (Paternal uncle=Hered. Spherocytosis). Would HS cause enlarged spleen without anemia?
