Splints to tight: The redness and blisters need to be addressed...The splint is probably to tight....But to elevate correctly the elbow should be at the level or just above the level of you heart and the hand and wrist above the elbow.... Move your fingers to help pump out the swelling...

Let me explain: I do agree with answer, I have another tip to add: rapp thin pillow around your forearm, secure with safety pins to keep it around, when you go to sleep, the arm will stay up your level all night. Good luck.
