See your doctor: It could be one of several things. You could have strep, even without fever, but unlikely. Could be from post-nasal drip from allergies. Since it is only on one side, you may have a food particle stuck in one of the cryptic structures that are part of the tonsils. I would see your primary care physician to help determine what is going on.
