A member asked:

I know some people are more likely to get cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea than others. which ones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Trauma or other: CSF rhinorrhea can occur spontaneously or from trauma or tumor or other cause. There is thinning of the bones in the anterior inferior region of the skull causing spinal fluid to leak into the sinus cavity. You can't prevent it and you can't predict it.
