Cervicogenic otalgia: This may be caused by a pulled or sprain muscle that attached to your neck to the outlying bones of the ear. Referred pain from an irritated or pinched nerve can also cause this. Other conditions are possible. You should see your doctor for an exam to make sure its nothing more serious and to get the correct diagnosis and treatment.
