Stress....: ....Can cause a variety of somatic (felt in the body) problems. You can have headaches, stomach aches, body aches, diarrhea, weight loss, weight gain, difficulty sleeping, mood changes, increased susceptibility to infections, and many other problems, all related to stress. Stress: Im sorry to hear your grandmother has dementia. Stress can cause a lot of different issues including problems with sleep energy or even sometimes aches and pain. See a psychiatrist or your physician for further workup and appropriate referrals and treatment. They may even be able to provide resources for your grandmother.
