Depends on the cause: If the anemia is caused by iron deficiency- then perhaps you can increase uptake of food that rich in iron such as spinach, beets, liver etc. You can also buy otc iron supplement for iron deficiency. You can give yourself vit B12 injection if this is a case of vit B12 deficiency. However, until you know what the cause of anemia , it will be difficult to treat anemia. Please see your doctor.

Possibly: It depends upon the type of anemia. Without knowing the exact type of anemia it is not possible to say. For diseases such as sickle cell anemia, thalasemia, and other hemoglobinopathies that are genetic no home therapies would help. For iron deficiency, B12 deficiency, or folate (folic acid) deficiency supplementation would help and could be done at home.
