Chest pain: Your child's pain sensation is being caused by his heart hitting up against a thin chest wall, especially when he is bouncing around or running. Just reassure him and yourself that itnothing serious.

Evaluation: I would suggest an evaluation for the chest pain. Your physician may assess him for asthma which can be triggered by exercise. Other causes include muscular strain or irregular heart beat.
