Chest lain: Are you wheezing? If so you may have exercise induced asthma.Quite possibly you have a thin chest wall and when you run your heart is bouncing off your chest wall like a ping pong ball giving you the pain sensation.

Chest pain: You need to ask your pediatrician. He might have exercise induced asthma. However it is not normal for a 7 year old to have chest pain when he is running so this symptom needs to be evaluated.
