You need a Diagnosis: A raised tongue from a dental abscess is an important warning sign. You should go to your local hospital emergency room and get evaluated. If you are correct about it being ludwig's angina or some similar infections, it could get worse quickly.

See doctor: I recommend you go back to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics to have him check under your tongue. Ludwig's angina is usually associated with swelling of the neck.
