Maybe: Amoxicillin is a good antibiotic for some mouth infections but many people develope an allergy to it. There are also resistant bacteria and anaerobic bacteria that do not respond to this drug. You should seek professional guidance with this infection and treat it quickly. Removing the stud should be considered.

It's Not a joke: Imagine if something would go wrong with your tongue or your mouth. This is a serious matter and requires immediate attention. Put away all of your old antibiotics and go see your dentist or an ENT for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

Don't self medicate: Have your infection looked at by your dentist or your physician. It can spread quite rapidly if not treated correctly and quickly.

Five things to do-: 1. Remove the piercing. 2. See a dentist asap for treatment 3. Rinse with warm salt water 4. Don't replace the piercing once healed 5. Find a less harmful way to express your individuality.
