Need more info: Cannot possibly diagnosed this long distance, but you simply may have overdone the workout and stressed yourself. If this continues, however, you should be seen and examined. Bring with you a list of all symptoms and a timeline. Check your pulse during these workouts. Good luck and stay healthy.

New workout regimen: The short answer is before beginning any new strenuous exercise regimen, you should have a complete physical exam and any testing which is indicated from that exam. This is why kids playing high school or college sports must have a signed release from a physician. The exceedingly few athletes who have a 'finding' may actually be spared serious consequences, and even then some are missed.
