Soda: Soda has been shown to increase one's chance of diabetes. Even diet brands have been shown to be harmful. Kidney stone risk goes up. All the additives that you are getting by drinking it are of no health benefit and unnecessary calories lead to obesity and all the complications thereof.

Soda: Soda is generally an unhealthy drink, too much sugar and the phosphoric included depletes calcium, which can cause fractures if you drink soda excessively. Soda has no nutritional benefit and studies indicate weight gain more significant in soda drinkers than those who do not consume soda. Best wishes.
