Allergy: The most common cause of redness in the inner corners and itch is ocular allergy. A trip to your eye doctor can confirm the diagnosis and rule out other causes. There are many good otc and prescription allergy medications. I would avoid, however, the otc allergy drops which are also redness relievers because they can be addicting which sometimes can lead to more frequent use and toxicity.
