Bit tongue: Most likely you bit your tongue while you slept. If it continues see a dentist. You may have a broken tooth that is rough and rubbing on the tongue. Another cause could be a piercing that got caught between your teeth. If there is no dental reason than see your primary care dr. To rule out any systemic causes or allergic reactions.
