Talk to your dentist: This would be a question for your dentist. He/she knows your teeth and gums from regular checkups and can advise on specific oral care regimens. They can also advise on the cause of the bleeding/ gum pain. Dry mouth can also be a side effect of medications, stress and mouth breathing at night.

Gum disease: Small chance this nis sign of specific systemic disorders. Greatest probability this is due to inflammatory infective gum disease, Gingivitis or Periodontitis. Infection spreads through circulatory system and attacks other organ systems. Please see General Dentist or specialist Periodontist. This will not self-heal and requires immediate professional care.
