Hopefully: Cryotherapy destroys the tissues that have been affected by hpv. Most women after cryotherapy will have an hpv negative pap. It's not a guarantee that the hpv will be gone, but it's a high probability that it will. Your cervix needs some time to heal. Most doctors recommend 2-4 weeks before resuming intercourse. There may be some blood if the cervix hasn't healed fully and you resume sex.
