Choking and Inhaling: If it is in your lungs and you are breathing comfortably and not coughing it is not going to cause any trouble and the cilia that line the trachea will move it up into your throat. It doesn't sound like you have much to worry about.

Good morning. My symptoms are slight labored breathing when laying down, slight chest heaviness on right lung. No fever, no cough, no sore throat. I can do daily activities fine, but just overall chest discomfort. No pain when exhale/inhale.
I have all the symptoms of lung cancer: shortness of breath, cough with yellow phlegm and occasional red streaks, fingernail clubbing...but my Chest X-Ray and Noncontrast High-Res Chest CT were negative. Doctors are saying I'm fine, but I'm scared?
