Nutrition & exercise: Good nutrition & regular exercise are key to obtaining & maintaining healthy weight. Doubtful you gained weight quickly, so don't expect to lose more than 1-2 pounds/week. Aim to eat 500 calories less each day than you expend in activity. After 7 days, you'll be down 3, 500 calories or 1 pound. Check w/your doctor to be sure you're healthy enough to exercise. And check your thyroid just to be sure.
