Overactive thyroid: It means his thyroid is making too much hormone. Causes include: graves disease, inflammed thyroid, taking too much thyroid hormone, taking too much iodine, a thyroid growth, and rarely tumors of the testes or ovaries. He needs to see his physician to get this evaluated and treated. It can cause problems if not treated adequately. Good luck.
