Your activities need to be curtailed for several days, and you need to take care of the woud with antibiotic ointment. Ingrown nail: Generally there is very little pain . Usually just tylenol (acetaminophen). There is very little restriction of activities unless you work out a lot or are in athletics. Then you just adjust as needed.
