Hello. i had ingrown surgery on my left big toenail about 7 years ago. i've noticed that the outside part of the nail is buckling or curving to the outside. it makes up almost a quarter of the nail. also some horizontal ridges. what could this mean?

Probably chronic fungal toe nail infection. Podiatry Consult visit might be a good option at this time.

You may have trauma to the nail from shoes or activities. You may have developed a fungus in the nail. If you are concerned see a Podiatrist.
