Bipolar Disorder: Seroquel (quetiapine) XR is FDA approved as short-term monotherapy for mania, bipolar depression & mixed states. It is FDA approved for long-term adjunctive maintenance treatment of Bipolar I in conjunction w a mood stabilizer.
