Maintains balance: The liver has three major functions: 1) it synthesizes proteins that help you clot your blood and maintain fluid balance and 2) it metabolizes all the debris that we are exposed to included what we eat, breath, touch, and or take in medication and 3) it makes bile which helps you break down and absorb nutrition from the things that you eat.
