No: That would be unusual unless you were an extremely thin person or you had other previous surgeries in that area.

No: Most of the time it is the spinous process that the patient feels and not usually the screws. Need you surgeon to verify if these bumps are truely the screws. If they are the screws, and if they bother you and if the fusion is solid then just have them removed.
