Very odd!: Normal sleep is composed of 90 minute cycles in which rem sleep is about 10 minutes.The remainder is "deep sleep" that is in stages of depth, i.e. Stage 3 and 4. My question has to be how the "skipped" time is filled in in the sleep study. Since we dream in rem sleep i expect that you have an unusual dream life. Deep sleep is the restorative component so the sleep study is a mystery to me.
