My daughter's earring's back has become embedded insideher earlobe. she has eczema. will her pediatrician be ableto handle this or the er?

Ask your ped: Most pediatrician's offices should be able to handle this type of situation. If not, the more appropriate place would be a surgeon's office, not the er. It is not an emergency, and will be done with more skill and final appearance if any problems arise by a surgeon they can likely do it right in the office if your pediatrician can't do it. Just call your pediatrician's office and ask!

Likely: Your doctor will be able to manage this issue, but best to let them make that determination after evaluating your daughter. Trust them to make the right decision on behalf of your child. Their oath precludes them from engaging in activities knowingly harmful to those who seek their care. If they are not comfortable, they may refer you to an ENT doc, surgeon or dermatologist for evaluation.

Depends: Each physician has varying degrees of comfort. I would recommend you call your pediatrician's office and describe the problem so that the doctor can make the decision.
