Depends: Most "pinched nerves" are just inflamed, not damaged. When your spinal health improves with stretch, strength, and staying active, your numbness should go away. The bellybutton goo is a bit difficult to judge without examination. If the skin is red or blistered, get another examination. Try keeping the bellybutton dry with a cotton swab. Treat piercings with hydrogen peroxide, then dry.
