A different drop?: I am not the biggest fan of preparations that contain neomycin as it is known to irritate the skin of some individuals, making the itching worse. Generally complete avoidance of q tips and using a different drop like dermotic (there is a generic now too) twice a day as needed can help. Also make sure you have a drying box for your hearing aids at night so they aren't too moist.
