Immune Cells: When one has an infection the immune fighting cells, the white blood cells, come to attack and to destroy the infection. This is pus. If you did not have an immune system then you would die. It is absolutely a wrong assumption that you do not want immune cells in your body or to 'prevent' your body from fighting off infection.
