My lady friend has cushing syndrome. she was too embarassed to tell me any more. can you explain it to me please?

Yes: Not sure why your friend would be embarassed about having cushing's syndrome. Unless she is overusing her steroid pills, there is nothing she could have done to prevent it and it's not contagenous. Is that right??: Please make sure that the diagnosis is correct because this is uncommnon and very serious -- it usually implies some kind of adrenal tumor or cancer that causes overproduction of adrenal hormones ie steroids.
