Cushing's unknow 10y: Yes Cushing's can be a slow developing problem. The only way to know is to be tested for it. I always recommend a 24 hr urine for urinary free cortisol AND and overnight Dexamethasone suppression testing. It can be a difficult Dx to make early in the evolution of Cushing's. Would be happy to get more details with a second opinion.
