Viral syndrome: Unless you're taking a statin (used to lower cholesterol) all of which are associated w/muscle aches, it's more likely that you've caught a virus like influenza. Plenty of rest & fluids plus occasional pain relief should take of you but if pains persist, get worse, are accompanied by any fever or other body changes, go see your doctor immediately.
