Should be resolving: Viral meningitis is typically a brief event lasting several days to maybe up to 1-2 weeks. There may of course, be lingering problems, especially if your cause was arthropod borne, such as west nile. Do not go searching for "immune system" therapies, instead see an infectious disease specialist and get this re-evaluated.

Won't help symptoms: Treating just the symptoms or the virus (for example, hsv meningitis with acyclovir) is all one can do. Symptoms of meningitis are typically the result of inflammation of the lining of the spinal chord and brain. If you try to enhance your immune system , you may make the inflammation worse.
