Meningitis: If your friend just had viral meningitis, she needs to be quarantined in her house for 2 weeks. You should not be anywhere nesr her. She is still contagious with a virus that can be deadly. Be safe!

Yes,worry.: Be safe not sorry.I really can't answer with lots of certainty because of your friends spectrum of illness;but why risk dad's health?

Not to worry: Does your friend live with your father? Viral meningitis is generally not a contagion like the flu. Not sure what you mean by "uni", but in any case your friend is not contagious.
