How would i know that my toe is broken and what can i do if it is broken?

X-ray: An xray is the only way to know for sure. The smaller toes are usually buddy taped to a neighbor when they are fractured and not displaced. The big toe sometime requires more treatment than that. It will take about 6 weeks for it to heal if it is broken.
