I have social anxiety with a mix of bi-polar disorder. what kind of doc specializes in treating this?

Psychiatrist: You would benefit from evaluation by a psychiatrist. You may prefer seeing a psychologist and having a psychological evaluation as well if you are not inclined to treat your condition with medications although the diagnosis of bipolar disorder typically requires a medication.

Anxiety: I recommend both a counselor (lcsw or phd) & a psychiatrist, for assessment & treat approach to treatment.
