Artificial saliva?: Artificial saliva can help reduce the dryness. Keep your mouth closed during sleep--using a chin-strap. If you are on medications--many can cause dry-mouth, consult with your doc about them. Good luck.

Airway obstruction : Sleeping with your mouth open can dry your mouh and cause the tongue to expand. You may need to see an ENT for an exam. Weightless, healthy sinuses, and jaw position all affect our breathing at night. Rule out sleep apnea. You may need a sleep study.
