Smoking\gum disease: Smoking does not make your teeth shift. However, over time, it might contribute to periodontal (gum) disease which eventually will cause bone loss, loose teeth and shifting.

Periodonal Probs: Mobility of your teeth is indicative of bone loss and problems with the support of your teeth. Smoking can contribute to the problem by irritating the soft tissues and by restricting blood flow. See a local dentist for a definitive diagnosis and treatment before you loose your teeth.
