Yes: I agree with dr nguyen. We see many patients with elevation in blood creatinine (creatine is broken down to creatinine). This can suggest kidney dysfunction. It may also cause water retention. There is some sketchy evidence that it builds muscle mass, and make you stronger for short bursts, but most doctors feel the potential or real harm outweighs the benefit of taking creatine.
