Is it typical fir cardiologist to do stress test before doing any other test like echo or ekg ?

Not typically : It depends upon the presenting symptoms. These tests provide complimentary information but are not necessarily sequential. While some patients need one test, others may need multiple tests depending upon their condition.

Can go either way: Usually ECG comes first but it all depends on the cardiologist and your symptoms. The stress test will start with a baseline ECG anyway.
